Full-time baker and part-time sleuth Sally Muccio is egg-cited to be hosting her very first Easter egg hunt at her bakery, Sally’s Samples. There will be plenty of frosted sugar cookies and chocolate on hand to please all kids, big and small, including her father. The icing on the cake is that the owner of the novelty shop who supplies Sal’s infamous fortune cookie messages has graciously agreed to make an appearance as the Easter Bunny.

But when the life-sized bunny is found stabbed in the back—literally—behind Sal’s bakery, the holiday takes a deadly turn. As Sal follows a trail of clues, she must juggle suspicious suspects, her booming business, and her crazy family. To make matters worse, Sal’s mysterious aunt has arrived from Italy without warning, and Sal’s father, who immediately warms up to everyone, is suddenly giving her the cold shoulder. With family secrets piling up and a murderer still hopping around free, Sal will need to jump into action before her life becomes even more scrambled!
